Members of the PVSITES project consortium held their fourth general assembly meeting in June 2017 in Brussels. The meeting was hosted at the EERA facilities.
With the technical development of innovative BIPV products well under way, the main discussions were related to planning the implementation of these products at the six demonstration sites. It was confirmed that one of the swiss demonstration sites will be substituted: CIGS elements for ventilated facades will be installed at the École hôtelière de Genève (EHG) rather than at the initially foreseen industrial warehouse in Zurich.
The first project review meeting also took place in Brussels, bringing together the main PVSITES actors and the Project Officer representing the European Commission. Actions conducted in the first 15 months of the project and associated results were assessed positively and work towards final objectives will continue without major deviations.
A presentation of the project goals and current progress was furthermore given by project coordinator Maider Machado (Tecnalia) to members of the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the Commission, in a dedicated meeting arranged by the Project Officer.
